Thanks for taking the time to set up an alumnae web site. I enjoyed looking at it.

We had our 50th reunion October 5-6, 2001, and it was great. We had 107 classmates attend plus spouses and guests for a grand total of 173. We also had three retired faculty members attend our breakfast: Paul Eddy, Dean of Boys; Bill Kelso, Woodworking Arts; and Margaret Reavis Brogley, Home Economics--they looked better than some of the classmates!

Our class has decided to have an annual dinner in addition to a "bigger" reunion every five years. The dinner will be held on the fourth Saturday every September. Our first annual dinner will be on September 28, 2002 at Adelaide Hall from 6:30 - 11:00. It will be a buffet dinner at a cost of $20 per person. Dress is casual. Announcements have been mailed to all classmates and reservations are due by September 14. n addition to those functions, we now also have a monthly lunch get together at various places in the Fort Smith/Van Buren area (and sometimes farther) for classmates and spouses. It's held on the first Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. We welcome Northside graduates from other classes, too. The September 3rd lunch will be at Jerry Neel's Bar-B-Q on Phoenix. No reservations are needed--just show up!

We also have a web site at www.myfamily.com. You do need a username to get access to the Fort Smith High Class of 1951 web pages. If you want to sign up, please contact Sue Epperson McGee at skmcgee@worldnet.att.net for information. Use of the site is free. News of classmates as well as many photos are posted. It's a very active site.
